It is the three As – awareness, accessibility and affordability – that trigger the rot. In this market of fashion and low involvement, Crizal is the largest-selling, branded anti-reflective spectacle lens. But it didn’t happen overnight. The result is a collective, sixteen-year effort from Essilor, opticians, optometrists and other eye care professionals to bring awareness about spectacle lenses to the Indian consumer.
